Speedy was a 4-H "project." He was mean to be raised and then auctioned off for slaughter. But, when it came time to auction him off, the student who'd raised him couldn't do it and reached out to us. Because she owned the contract, she was able to make the decision to not send him to auction.

Speedy is a sweet sheep who will walk right up to most people for a little head scratch.

Miku was also a 4-H "project" but his student did not own his contract. Therefore, when it came time for Miku to go to auction, the student didn't have the right to change their mind and Miku had no option but auction (and almost certain death). But, because the student also had a change of heart, they reached out to us. They only way we  could save Miku was to bid on him.

Today, Miku loves to play in the barnyard with his goat and sheep friends.

Same as Miku, Daisy was also a 4-H "project" and her student did not own her contract. Therefore, when it came time for Daisy to go to auction, the student didn't have the right to change their mind and Daisy had no option but auction (and almost certain death). But, because the student also had a change of heart, they reached out to us. Just like MIku, the only way we could save Daisy was to bid on her.

Today, Daisy loves to play in the barnyard with her goat and sheep friends and is never far from Miku and Speedy.
